I’ve always felt that music can reflect where the artist is at in life. As a producer and instrumental artist, I have to find ways of describing those things without the use of words. The track starts with a filtered synth arpeggiator, inspired by warm synths of french indie house music and builds off of that one idea. The song slowly takes shape as the bass fills the surrounding space in the track and ethereal voices reach out from the distance and pull you further in. Off-kilter drums similar to electronic artists like Burial, keep the track moving in an unpredictable way.

This song describes exposing yourself to the real world and its responsibilities, taking the hard with the easy and becoming who you are supposed to be over time. Its meant to be emotional and dynamic. It doesn’t linger too long on one section or idea, just as you get comfortable it takes you and leads you into something else. Be open to becoming exposed to the world over time. - BoatHouse
